A 29-year-old man has been charged with murder with reckless indifference following investigations into the death of a 27-year-old woman in North Toowoomba on Wednesday.

The man was arrested in Roma at 11.35am today and has since been charged with murder with reckless indifference.

He is expected to appear in Toowoomba Magistrates Court on March 3.

Detectives continue to appeal for information and are particularly keen to speak to anyone who may have dashcam or been in the vicinity of Christmas Street, West Street or Gladstone Street around the time of the incident.

Anyone who has any information that may be able to assist the investigation is asked to contact police.
