Queensland police are investigating a number of armed robberies throughout Brisbane and Logan during the early hours of this morning.

Initial investigations indicate around 5.50am, up to four offenders, believed to be males, attended a service station on Beenleigh Redland Bay Road, Cornubia, armed with a knife and wrench.

An amount of cigarettes and cash were stolen before the offenders left the scene in a stolen white Volkswagen Golf, Queensland registration 254 WFV.

Around 6.07am, police responded to reports of another armed robbery at a Clarkes Road service station in Loganholme.

It is believed the same offenders attended the business, while armed, and stole cash and cigarettes.

No one was physically injured in either incident.

The Volkswagen was reported stolen from a Langley Avenue, Wilston, residence around 4.55am this morning.

Police also believe the same offenders broke into a Laughland Street, Wilston, residence around 4.45am and stole a number of items, including a handbag, jewellery and keys.

Suspicious behaviour by who police believe is the same group was also reported around Main Avenue, Bardon, at 4.25am and Herbert Street, Paddington, at 4.40am.

Anyone who has any information, or anyone with CCTV or dashcam vision that could assist police with the investigation, is asked to contact police.

Investigations are ongoing.
