Police are appealing for public assistance as part of an investigation into a serious two-vehicle crash in Cedar Grove yesterday, December 25.
Investigations indicate about 4.10pm, a Toyota Camry and a Toyota Hilux crashed at the corner of Bamboo Drive and Mount Lindesay Highway.
The driver of the Camry, a man in his 80s, was airlifted to Princess Alexandra Hospital in a critical condition.
The passenger of the Camry and the driver of the Hilux were not seriously injured.
Police are appealing for witnesses, in particular the driver of a vehicle that was in front of the Camry prior to the crash, or anyone with dashcam footage to come forward.
Forensic Crash Unit investigations are continuing.
