Police are appealing for information, including CCTV or dashcam footage, as investigations continue into the sudden death of a 21-year-old man at Woodstock on December 14.
The Vincent man’s body was found deceased in his Silver Subaru Forester on Webb Road at 8.30am on Saturday.
A taskforce, named Operation Whiskey Koba, has been established and homicide detectives from Brisbane are in Townsville to assist with the investigation into the man’s sudden death.
Officer in Charge of the investigation, Detective Inspector Jason Shepherd said police received reports the deceased man was seen with another man in the Woodstock area late Friday night, December 13.
The men were seen driving the Subaru Forester erratically on a Dingo Park Road property.
“Anyone who may have seen the two men both described as Caucasian in the Woodstock area on either Friday night or Saturday morning is encouraged to come forward to police,” Detective Inspector Shepherd said.
Police are also seeking anyone who may have dashcam footage from along Webb Drive or Dingo Park Road on Friday night, December 13 or early Saturday morning, December 14.
