A 42-year-old man has been charged over a carjacking and police pursuit that ended when he was allegedly found hiding inside the roof of a suburban Perth home. He is accused of stealing the car from a Shoalwater service station before crashing it in Middle Swan and fleeing to a house. A woman and child inside the car when it was stolen escaped from the vehicle unharmed a short distance later.
