A teenage driver has escaped serious injury after his car crashed through the barrier of an overpass bridge in Adelaide’s north-eastern suburbs and dropped 5 metres.
The P-plater allegedly drove off the edge of the bridge over the Linear Park trail on Ascot Avenue at Vale Park just before 9:30pm on Sunday.
The Mitsubishi sedan landed on its roof but the 17-year-old from Hendon suffered minor injuries.
Police are investigating the crash and asked anyone with information to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
