A five-year-old girl has died in Adelaide’s Western suburbs.
Police and paramedics were called to Ballater Avenue in Seaton just before 4pm on Wednesday following reports of an unresponsive child.
The girl was treated at the scene before being taken to hospital where she has died.
Major Crime are assisting detectives with the investigation and police will remain on the scene for “some time”.
A police spokesperson wouldn’t reveal the suspected cause of death or whether anyone was in custody or assisting police.
The matter will now be the subject of a coronial investigation.
