The next day — following media reporting on his court appearance — he was charged with stalking a second alleged victim and breaching his bail.

A month later he was charged with a further 16 counts of stalking.

The Adelaide Magistrates Court heard there had been a lengthy police investigation since his initial arrest and more alleged victims had come forward.

This week, Mr Flintoff was charged with a further seven counts of stalking and the historical rape and unlawful sexual intercourse of a girl under the age of 15.

Court documents reveal he allegedly sexually assaulted the girl over several days almost two decades ago.

Mr Flintoff, who appeared via video link from the city watchhouse, made no application for bail in the Adelaide Magistrates Court on Friday.

He was remanded in custody to face court again later this month.
