A 20-year-old man has been killed in a hit-and-run crash at Morphett Vale in Adelaide’s south, while a motorcyclist has died on Main South Road in Darlington.

The victim of the hit-and-run crash, from Sellicks Beach, was a passenger in a Toyota Hilux that was hit by a silver Ford sedan on Flaxmill Road about 9:50pm on Tuesday.
Police are searching for the driver of the Ford, which they said was later found “burnt out in a gully off the Southern Expressway at Reynella”.
Emergency services were called to Flaxmill Road, but the man died at the scene.
The driver of the Toyota, a 22-year-old Morphett Vale man, suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to Flinders Medical Centre.
Flaxmill Road was closed for about eight hours while Major Crash officers investigated, but it has since reopened.
Police are asking anyone who saw either vehicle on Flaxmill Road prior to the crash or anyone who may have dashcam, phone or CCTV footage to please contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
Motorcycle crash at Darlington
In a separate crash this morning, a 66-year-old motorcyclist from Mitchell Park died after being taken to hospital following a crash on Main South Road at Darlington.
Main South Road is closed for southbound traffic at Seacombe Road.
Major Crash investigators are at the scene.
The two men are the 58th and 59th lives lost on South Australian roads this year, compared with 52 at the same time last year.
