Police are asking for community assistance to locate a Ford sedan after five businesses were broken into just north of Adelaide overnight.

Officers were called to a business on Prospect Road, Prospect, after an alarm was activated at about 2:13am on Sunday.
Patrols noticed a silver Ford sedan nearby, but when officers approached it, it drove away along Prospect Road, heading south.
Police briefly pursued the vehicle but lost sight of it on Hackney Road, Gilberton.
Upon further investigation, officers discovered that four other businesses in the area had also been broken into.
Soon after the break-ins, the Ford was also involved in a drive-off at a petrol station on South Road, Ridleyton.
The vehicle is described as a grey 2005 Ford Falcon sedan, with South Australian registration plates of XEC916.
Police said they suspected the break-ins are related, and are continuing their investigations.
